The South Carolina Legislature, led by Republican Governor Niki Haley, will convene on January 10, 2012 in Columbia, South Carolina. The House of Representatives is controlled by the Republican Party (76-48), as is the Senate (27-19).

The Speaker of the House is Republican Representative Bobby Harrell and the President of the Senate is Republican Glen McConnell.
