The Commonwealth of Massachusetts remains a strongly Democratic state after the 2010 elections. Governor Deval Patrick will lead a Democratic legislature holding 36 seats to 4 in the Senate and 127 to 33 in the House. The 2012 session will kick-off on January 4.

Massachusetts Non-Judicial Foreclosure for Timeshares Effective January 4

Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick signed the bill enacting non-judicial foreclosure legislation for timeshares on October 6, 2010.  The new law, effective on January 4, 2011 will greatly streamline the process and reduce costs for timeshare foreclosures
